5-star resort experience

Lodging pup header

Long term lodging at The Pampered Paw is of the highest standard. By all reports, our guests are going mutts! The one thing we do request however is that your dog has a current C5 vaccination and is up to date with flea and tick protection.

Services

DAYCARE

We also offer a daycare service at our “day spa” where your dog will be exercised, entertained and educated. More than a standard daycare facility, our service is more akin to an adventure park/ school for your pooch.

Lodging

Our dog suites are spacious for your pooch’s freedom and comfort. We are completely dedicated to providing high quality accommodation, exceptional food, and friendly staff who will lovingly cater to your best friend’s needs. So much so, your dog will be hounding you to stay again.

All rooms are cleaned daily to ensure your dog’s stay is hygienic and comfortable. You are also welcome to bring along any of her/ his comfort toys and items to enhance their stay. We can’t guarantee they will return home in the same condition, but you are more than welcome to bring them along with them.

Check-In

After checking in at reception, guests (dogs) are shown to their suite where they are given the necessary time needed to settle in and become accustomed to their environment. We are dedicated to providing high-quality accommodation and care for your best friend. All sleeping quarters are secure with trampoline-style bedding.

GROUNDS TOUR

Next up after check-in is a tour of our resort grounds. Again, it is all about allowing your dog to become familiar and comfortable with their new surrounds during their stay. We appreciate this takes time and don’t rush the process. We want them to feel at home.

itinerary

Yes, that’s right, we have a holiday itinerary for the duration of their stay. Each morning, as rooms are cleaned, our ‘guests’ are allocated to play areas to match their size and temperament. If your dog is a little anti-social (we can all be at times), this is 100% alright. We can structure some individual play time as required.

Pool Time

What’s a holiday without a little time by the pool, or in it. If you have a water baby, please feel free to discuss your pet’s swim time with our friendly staff.

Dining

Ah yes, bon a-pet-treat. We feed our guests a premium quality biscuit with cooked chicken meat. Special dietary needs can also be accommodated for a minimal fee. Dining is casual and no formal attire is required.

Extras

Other activities available include petting sessions and brushing, play sessions and gourmet delicacies. Rest assured our special extras always receive a healthy round of a-paws. Ahh paw-lease. Anyhow it is utterly pawsome.

F.A.Q.s

Is my pet required to be vaccinated?

All dogs must have a current C5 vaccination, and be up to date with flea and tick protection.
C5 vaccination (ideally tick, flea & worming treatment as well) must be administered at least 14 days before the booking unless it’s a scheduled yearly re-vaccination (it takes 14 days for antibodies to become active).

All cats must have a current F3 vaccination, and be up to date with flea and tick protection.

Do you offer an inspection?

We currently only offer a limited viewing of our lodging to reduce any unnecessary stimulation (boarding) and by appointment only.

Inspections at the daycare are by appointment only during operating hours.

Do you offer a pick-up service?

Sorry, we do not offer a pick-up service.

What if my pet is not de-sexed?

At The Pampered Paw, we accept male dogs that are not de-sexed at all times. We do not accept female dogs that are not de-sexed when they are “in season” at time of boarding, all other times entire female dogs are accepted (this is due to a female dog in season causing general disturbance through-out kennels during this time).

What if my trip is delayed and I cannot collect my pet on time as arranged?

We ask that you email or Facebook message us as soon as possible to let us know of your delay. We in turn will keep your pet secure and comfortable until you are able to collect them. Any fees as a result of extension of boarding are payable in full on check-out of your pet (for extended delays of 3 days or more it is respectfully requested you settle these fees by discussing a payment over the phone).

What if I need to cancel my booking?

You can cancel your booking at any time with no penalty in low season by phone or by emailing us. We appreciate as much notice as possible as this allows us to offer the position to another pet. During peak times such as Easter and Christmas periods the deposit is non-refundable.

What if my pet is Human Aggressive or Declared Dangerous?

This facility has a policy of refusal for all Human Aggressive and Declared Dangerous pets.

What forms of payment are not accepted?

We accept all forms of payment (Visa, Mastercard and direct debit) aside from American Express.

Trust in us to take care of your best friend.
